I was leery of purchasing an electronic device for her because if it screwed up she'd be disappointed and I'd be mad. Not only has she had it for more than a year but all peices are still intact and plays just as well as it did that 2006 Christmas morning. The jam stand is small but mighty, u can hear the music throughout the house when she uses it. The music stick itself is also awesome.
