The sound is quite tinny and seems to echo if you have to turn the volume up to any point above 1/3 the maximum volume. There is also a several second delay when you turn the unit on before a picture appears. We were never able to find a remote code that works with tivo so we constantly have to have two remotes in hand. Edited to add: The audio is so annoying that we are returning the tv. Some sets this size and price don't have HDMI, or have only one input. The picture is fine I don't have a problem with the sound- it's what you expect from small speakers. I got this to replace a small CRT. There are 2 HDMI inputs, plus the 5 wire color-coded input from a cable box, which is what I'm using. Everything worked great for me right out of the box. Even the webcam, wireless, and wired network all worked great with out any additional setup. I highly recommend this little netbook to anyone that is always on the run or anyone that just needs something simple that "just works", and does not have anything Microsoft on it to ruin you day :) I played with some of the other netbooks and this definately tops my list for best netbook. While her netbook was running Windows, I (being a Debian GNU/Linux user for several years) knew I'd have to search for a Linux netbook. I put it up on my inside front door because the foyer has no light or heat, so I needed something that could stand up to some extreme temps. It works like a dream. Enough light to see the keyhole, find my keys and to see the black cat if he's sneaked out. The batteries are still going strong, and it has survived sub-zero temps and over 100 degrees with no problem.
