But this is a great kit, its brighter than some of the less expensive models. It also can be broken down and put back into the handy carrying case that it comes with. I took a chance on this kit since it was my firt light kit. You learn by doing! So I learned that it can get the job done but you have to find just the right adjustments in the light placement and your camera settings. It's not as flexible as the more expensive kits, as you cannot dim them or install multiple bulbs in a single fixture, but if a single fixture at continuous level is what you are seeking, it's hard to miss with this. The stands seem sturdy enough I won't have to worry about them toppling over or flopping around. It goes up at least 6-7', about as high as you might need to go for studio setting. Very sturdy light stands, heavy and sturdy spring, mounts, etc. But light enough and simple enough to move around and take with you, although there is no way to carry any of it, but for the box it came in. Shouldn't take more than 2 minutes to get up and set. Light seems fairly bright. It is quite blue/purple light, so keep that in mind when setting up your camera.
