Ignore all those bad reviews these speakers are the best ones especially for the price.The sound is unbelievably crisp and the bass is perfect. The only downside is that you need to have a computer that is compatible with 5.1 surround sound. I sadly found out that even an intergrated sound card that supports it still doesnt sound right so i bought a new creative sound card. Above all, this is the surround sound you want. That taken care of, the four speakers are connected to the subwoofer, which is connected via 2 stereo jacks (front/back) to a PC sound card. If you want to connect it to a gaming console: you dump a stereo jack (loose back), and with a Y cable, convert the Red and White cables to a stereo jack (front). Notice you loose the back part! It's been about 2 years since I purchased this system and to be honest they still pump it out the same way they did on day 1! When I got them it was a steal at $500! Now look at them.
