I find little joy in messing with a computer to make music. The best sound comes from the older, analog formats. If you have a good LP and turntable, that sounds the best. Recording MD's is very easy, I just program my stereo system with the songs i want to record and whenever i return the md is ready to be listened on the portable md player. It's a cheap tray, and still does everything the much more expensive one's do. Md's can also be heard at 2000 watts since the tray is connected to my sony stereo system.
