He even was able to find copies of some of the games we used to have. But the system didn't come from a cable -- a present from a friend. We bought a universal cable, and it didn't work. One of his friends had an old system and his cable didn't work either. Fearing that there might be something wrong with the system itself, I purchased the cable from Amazon and it works perfectly. It's a lot smaller than the cable that comes with the N64, but this is generally a mood thing, as some keep their N64s a distance away from the TV, etc. but me and my brothers think that it's a wonderful cord and it works for cheap. Just on thing to keep in mind, though: PUT THE RIGHT COLOR CORD IN THE RIGHT COLOR HOLE I know that it was a stupid mistake, but we almost thought our N64 was broken or our cables were bad.
